EUTHANASIA
Euthanasia is an important decision that some animal owners are sometimes called upon to make. In some incurable and serious health conditions it is considered the best choice.

As horse owners, we know very well how sensitive, personal and emotionally charged the moment of euthanasia is, which is why it is always carried out with discretion and respect towards the horse, as well as the owner.

NECROPSY & NECROTOMY
The purpose of necropsy and necrotomy is to investigate the causes of death, as well as to diagnose the disease from which the animal suffered.

In the case that the animal dies or is euthanized, necropsy /necrotomy can help diagnose the pathological condition from which the animal suffered. We consider necropsy to be very important, as it can not only provide answers regarding the causes of the disease, but also save lives by revealing management errors, toxicities or infectious diseases.

It is important for post-mortem examination to be carried out as quickly as possible after the animal’s death to avoid autolysis or decay, which make the evaluation of the lesions difficult.
