About us

Manto Oriana Manoli was involved in equestrian sports at a young age, and her love for animals, particularly horses, led her to choose a career in equine medicine. The same applies to Vasilis Papatheodorou, who had 15 horses on his parents’ farm from a very young age, which he took care of and rode, and he also engaged in equestrian sports.

Both graduated from the Veterinary Medicine Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in different years, but during their studies, their main focus was on equine medicine.

After completing her studies, Oriana further trained as an intern at the Equine Unit of AUTh and then she travelled to Australia to specialize in Equine Dentistry, while in 2021 she obtained International Certification in Infrared Thermography.

Vasilis, having worked for many years as a private veterinarian, with his favourite areas being orthopaedics and surgery, has performed a large number of demanding surgeries on both horses and companion animals, and has been trained in the use of Shockwave Therapy.

In addition, they have visited the Equine Clinic of the University Veterinary Hospital in Uppsala, Sweden, where they attended in various advanced equine orthopaedic and dental cases.

The professional training of Oriana and Vasilis is continuous through their participation in seminars and clinical workshops (wetlabs) in many countries, such as in Germany, Netherlands, Poland and England, with internationally distinguished speakers and they are dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care to horses. Their passion for horses and commitment to their profession have driven them to pursue advanced training and certifications in various specialized areas of equine veterinary medicine.

Overall, they are experienced and knowledgeable veterinarians who are passionate about providing the best possible care for horses. They are dedicated to staying updated with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and using their expertise to improve the health and well-being of their patients.
